With Joanna's obvious connection to Scotland, she likes to to keep up her repertoire of traditional Irish and Scottish Folk Songs. Joanna particularly has a great love of this music and is constantly looking out for songs to add to her song list.
The great thing about going to Ireland or Scotland for Joanna is to get the chance to listen and play with just a few of the many great local musicians all with all their different styles, instrumentation and versions of songs and tunes. There is more than a lifetime of listening and learning to be done.
Joanna is also keen to work together with other musicians who would like to come over to Germany to play music. Last year she was invited to play and sing as guest with Tim O'Shea (IRL) on his successful tour in the east of Germany. Now she is involved in planning a mini tour for Sandy Brechin and Friends (SCO) to come and play here in Germany in November of this year.
